Robert Brock

Robert joined Kentucky Repertory Theatre (formerly Horse Cave Theatre) in 1998 as an actor before becoming Horse Cave Theatre's Education Director. In 1979, Robert received a Hilberry Fellowship for graduate study at Wayne State University in Detroit, where he subsequently received his MFA in Acting. He participated in the month long Intensive Training with Shakespeare & Company in Bennington, VT. Robert was the director of the very successful Young Performers Productions of A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Two Gentlemen of Verona, Macbeth, Much Ado About Nothing, A Christmas Carol, Oedipus Rex, The Crucible, Our Town, The Comedy of Errors, and Hamlet. He has worked closely with the Governor's School for the Arts, teaching audition workshops and helping with the selection process.  He is also a part-time instructor at Western Kentucky University, Glasgow Campus.
Robert's acting credits include stints with Actors Theatre of Louisville, the Folger Shakespeare Theatre, The Fulton Opera House and Off-Broadway with the Blue Light Theatre. Favorite roles include: Macbeth, Oberon, Petruchio, Iago, Edgar in King Lear, Alan Turning in Breaking the Code, Valmont in Les Liaisons Dangereuses, and for Kentucky Repertory Theatre, Cornelius Hackl in The Matchmaker, Bernard Nightingale in Arcadia, Biff in Death of a Salesman, Dracula, co-starring with Annie Potts in Love Letters and his one-man shows of The Book of Revelation, The Passion of St. John, The Gospel of Mark and Mark Twain.
Robert has directed productions in New York, Lexington, KY, and Washington, D.C. Favorites among them are: The Mayor of Zalamea, A Streetcar Named Desire, Agnes of God, The Tempest, The Winter's Tale and The Diviners. For Kentucky Repertory Theatre Robert directed Camping with Henry and Tom, And A Nightingale Sang, Liz's Circus Story, Romeo and Juliet, Lovers and Executioners, Dracula, Fully Committed, Proof, Les Liaisons Dangereuses, The Taming of The Shrew, Frankenstein, Shiloh Rules, Steel Magnolias, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, A Christmas Carol, Pygmalion, and The Hollow.

Libby Wilson Ellis is a graduate of Murray State University and a former schoolteacher in the Marshall County school system. Along with her busy teaching schedule, Libby was elected as a chairperson for the Public Relations committee at Sharpe Elementary. In 2006, Libby assumed the role of Marketing Director and Executive Assistant. As an active member of the community, she has found time to serve with many local organizations to improve the quality of life in our theatre's community, including the Downtown Business Association and Leadership Hart County.
Chuck most recently was owner/operator of Keeley's Hallmark in Louisville, Kentucky. For Unisys Corporation, his titles include Manager of Distribution - U.S. Operations, Production Manager, Division Manager of Finance and Plant Manager. From 1975 - 1981 he worked for Burroughs Corporation as Plant Controller, Accounting Supervisor and Financial Analyst. He holds a Masters of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Economics degrees from the University of Pittsburgh.

Donna Freeburn has over twenty years of experience in education. She taught high school for eleven years at East Peoria Community High School in East Peoria, Illinois before working on her MFA in theatre at Illinois State University where she also taught undergraduate classes as part of a grad assistantship. While living and working as an actress in the Chicago area, she was adjunct faculty in the theatre department at the College of DuPage for ten years and has also worked as a part-time instructor at Benedictine University and Triton College, all in the suburban Chicago area.  Some of her favorite roles include: Hannah in Angels in America, Boo in The Last Night of Ballyhoo, Charlotte in The Real Thing, Kate in Dancing at Lughnasa, and for KRT, Amanda in The Glass Menagerie, Stella in Light Up the Sky, Kendall Kingsley in Impossible Marriage, M'Lynn in Steel Magnolias, Lady Bracknell in The Importance of Being Ernest, and Elizabeth Bartholomew in Murderer. She is a member of Actors Equity Association

This is Amanda's fourth season with Kentucky Repertory Theatre.  Favorite KRT roles include Eliza Doolittle in Pygmalion, Ghost of Christmas Past in A Christmas Carol, Buttons from Lying in State, Witch/Lady MacDuff in Macbeth, Cecily from The Importance of Being Earnest, and Mina in Dracula.  She also appeared in KTY's Jack and the Wonder Beans and Cindersmella.  She received her bachelor's degree in theatre from Idaho State University; received a Hilberry Fellowship for graduate study at Wayne State University in Detroit, where she received her MFA in Acting; and studied abroad at the Moscow Art Theatre in Russia. She has also toured with Idaho Shakespeare and acted at the Old Lyric Repertory Theatre in Utah.

Mary Margaret Villines has a background in Public Relations and Development for non-profit organizations, including STAGE ONE; The Louisville Children's Theatre and Spalding University in Louisville, Kentucky. She attended Mississippi College and the University of South Alabama for her undergraduate degree and the University of Kentucky for graduate school. She is married to Gerald L. Villines, a native of Henderson, Kentucky. They have one son, James Byron Villines, who is a student at Centre College.

Paul, a native of Pennsylvania, moved to Kentucky in 2004. He is happy to be starting his 3rd season with KRT.  He spent nearly 20 years in the Broadcasting Industry where in addition to on-air work he honed his skills as a commercial writer and producer. Paul started working with the theatre by lending his voice to readings in the KRT, Kentucky Voices Series in 2005 and 2006. In September of 2006 he performed in The Merry Wives of Windsor, Nym, and later that year performed several roles in A Christmas Carol. In 2007 he performed in Dearly Departed, Pygmalion, and The Hollow, and music directed and played several roles in A Christmas Carol.  Paul also appeared in Kentucky Theatre for Youth's productions of Jack & The Wonderbeans and Cindersmella.  Favorite KRT roles include Junior in Dearly Departed, twin brothers Scott Sean DeRocks and Jack Daniels in Inheritance, Where There's a Will There's A Fray, and Gudgeon in The Hollow.  Paul has been a full-time staff member at KRT since January of 2007.  Paul attended Bloomsburg University and DeSales University and makes his home in rural Metcalfe County with his wife Carolyn, his two dogs Pablo and Neo, and his cat Patter.

Carolyn Glodfelter is new to the Kentucky Repertory Theatre Staff, as well as the State of Kentucky. Carolyn has spent the past 18 years in the Motorcoach and Hospitality Industry and 12 of those years in the Philadelphia area. She is looking forward to assisting all types of groups with their tours to the theatre, assisting with planning their stay and making Kentucky Repertory Theatre a part of any groups yearly trip schedule.

This is Catt's fifth season at Kentucky Repertory Theatre.  She joined the KRT full-time staff in 2007 as resident costume designer.  She also enjoys teaching and performing in many of the Kentucky Theatre for Youth educational programs. Catt studied theatre at Centre College in Danville, KY, and theatre and literature at Western Kentucky University, and Harold Washington College in Chicago.  She went on to manage the costume shop at WKU and work as a freelance costume designer at many surrounding area theatres, including Public Theatre of Kentucky, KRT, and WKU.  As an area native, Catt has been involved behind the scenes of KRT for many years, but enjoys this opportunity to work to grow the seed that founded her own creative endeavors.
Dirk Fitzgerald

Dirk Fitzgerald is returning to Kentucky Repertory Theatre for his 3rd season and serves as a member of the full-time staff. His first theatrical performance was in the 2nd grade as a flying monkey in The Wizard of Oz and he has been in love with the theatre ever since. As a member of KRT's acting company, Dirk appeared in Merry Wives of Windsor, Dearly Departed, Pygmalion, The Hollow and both the 2006 & 2007 casts of A Christmas Carol. Also active in KRT's sister children's theatre, Kentucky Theatre for Youth, he appeared in last year's Jack and the Wonderbeans and Cindersmella.  He attended Western Kentucky University and currently lives in Cave City, KY with his wife and 2 daughters.

Erman is a graduate of Idaho State University where he received a degree in Theatre Arts.  Since then he has explored the business world through Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Marriott Inc., and Goodman Automotive.  He joined the staff at Kentucky Rep in the Fall of 2007 and played the role of Bob Cratchit in A Christmas Carol.
